Secretaries' Day was one of those ideas. It was, as you might guess, inspired by the "super-hero" (or, in this case, super-heroine) genre. "I imagined two women, running an unspecified business in their 'ordinary' lives, who had extraordinary powers. When called on to save the world from villains such as the Raging Patriarchal Dominator or the evil Testosticles, they would assume their super-powers by...well, you can check out the pictures yourself. (Jeanne thought it was silly...in retrospect, she was right. Plus, my costumes weren't very original...)" |
