"What is machinema?"
Machinema ("machine" + "cinema") is the emerging art of film-making using models and figures from PC games. The game-engine provides real-time animation. This will be used for our own films, as well as our upcoming soap opera, Sappho Beach.
In the meantime, there are very talented pioneers already creating high-quality cinematic works using this method.
These films touched a special chord in both of us (see Jeanne's memoirs when posted). They were created by two brilliant filmmakers named Michelle and Kheri at Brittanica Dreams Productions. We are pleased they have allowed us to present them here at Sappho's Flame.
